Find out whether the phrase has a word error or whether the mobile account was originally imported by private key, keystore, or hardware wallet.

A mobile user trying to open the same wallet in a browser kept seeing Invalid mnemonic. It is easy to read that as “my funds are gone.” The message only tells you the phrase the browser is receiving is not accepted for that recovery path. It does not, by itself, say anything about the balance at your existing address.
First check the words without exposing them
Work from your offline backup in a private place. Compare the word count, order, spelling, and spaces against what you are entering in the genuine Solflare extension. If one word looks uncertain, compare its spelling alone with a trusted copy of the public BIP39 English word list; do not paste the full phrase into a website, search box, note, screenshot, or chat. Solflare's troubleshooting guide identifies typos and an incorrect phrase as common causes. A correction should let the extension accept the phrase; it still does not prove you chose the account address holding the funds, so compare the public address afterward.
Was this account created from that phrase?
This is the less obvious branch. A Solflare mobile account may have been imported using a private key or keystore, or connected through a hardware wallet. In those cases, typing a different wallet's recovery phrase into the extension cannot recreate that imported account. Solflare lists these distinct recovery methods. Check your own setup records to identify which method created the address you are trying to see. If you used a hardware wallet, use its supported connection method; never type its seed into a browser extension.
If the phrase is still rejected after a careful offline check, stop repeated guesses and use Solflare's official support path. Give them the error, app type, and public address if needed, never the phrase or private key. If the phrase is accepted but the expected address is missing, that is a separate account-selection problem rather than an invalid-mnemonic problem.
